The influence of heat release on the dynamics of a porous material saturation in the course of gaseous silicon condensation

Abstract The results of a direct numerical simulation are presented which describe the specific process porous medium high-temperature siliconizing. calculations were performed taking into account diffusion, weak pressure gradient across workpiece and heat release during condensation gaseous silicon in pores. Phenomenological formulas for evaporation coefficients dependence on temperature offered. An evolutionary equation distribution sample is derived, takes these processes. Mathematical statement problem based modified MIM-model with addition Darcy’s law. Numerical modeling has been fulfilled by finite difference method using an explicit scheme. It shown that heating slows down particle settling. consistent qualitatively known experimental data.
